Scheduling Workshop 2026 in Cologne Brauweiler

Dear Sir or Madam

We would like to invite you to our scheduling workshop focusing on schedule management. The workshop is planned to take place between calendar weeks 25 and 27, i.e. between 18 and 30 June 2026. The final date will be set based on the responses we receive; if demand is high, we may offer an additional date.

On the evening before the workshop, we will kick off with our “Kölsche Networking” event – a joint visit to a traditional Cologne brewery in a relaxed atmosphere. Participation is optional, but highly recommended to make new contacts and start the professional exchange in an informal setting.

Workshop focus

  • Schedule management in practice: processes, roles and coordination in day-to-day operations
  • Schedule submissions in ENTSO-E Scheduling System (ESS) format: key information, practical guidance and tips from operations
  • Hands-on exercises on schedule creation and correction: step-by-step practice, including typical error patterns and ways to improve
In addition, participants will gain insights into Europe’s largest energy control room and visit the Front Office – Amprion’s interface to traders and the market.

Workshop methodology

  • Practical and interactive: concise input, concrete examples, and plenty of time for questions
  • Exchange among peers: share best practices, discuss experiences and take away concrete solutions

Who should attend?

  • Energy market participants – Balance Responsible Parties (BRPs) and service providers – involved in schedule nominations
  • Newcomers and professionals refreshing their knowledge who want to implement schedules securely and in compliance with the rules

Language:

The workshop will generally be held in German. Depending on the feedback and number of interested participants, an additional English-language workshop date may be offered. Please indicate your preferred language (German or English) when registering your interest.
