Storage Systems
Procedure for connection requests by storage system operators for connection to the grid of Amprion GmbH
Amprion enables the grid connection of storage systems to the transmission grid in accordance with the following transparent and non-discriminatory procedure.
1. Qualified Request
Qualified connection requests for connection to the transmission grid (hereinafter referred to as connection requests) shall be addressed to Amprion. They must contain the documents listed in the Checklist for a qualified connection request for storage system operators. If substantial information is missing from the connection request or if information is not plausible, the request does not constitute a qualified connection request.

A. HANDLING COMPETING CONNECTION REQUESTS
Competing connection requests exist if connection requests influence each other in terms of network technology in such a way that not all connection requests can be granted or if lower-priority requests lead to higher connection costs in relation to the higher-priority requests.
In the event of competing connection requests, the so-called first-come, first-served principle applies. Whoever submits a qualified request first will be given priority. If the connection commitment of the first connection applicant lapses, it can no longer claim priority over the competing connection request(s).
The provisions of Section 17 (2a) EnWG, Section 8 EEG and Section 3 KWKG remain unaffected.
