General information on data processing

We only ever collect and use our users’ personal data where this is necessary for providing a functioning website and our contents and services. Our users’ personal data are usually only collected and used with the users’ consent. Exceptionally, this is not the case if it is not possible to obtain prior consent for material reasons and the processing of such data is permitted by law.

Data collection and processing

Personal data (e.g. name, address, email, etc.) does not have to be provided in order to use our online services.

Creation of log files

We automatically collect and store for a temporary period log files on our servers and information sent to us by your browser. Such data includes but is not limited to

  • Referrer URL (the previously visited website)

Amprion independently builds and operates electricity transmission systems to comply with its duties to expand and operate the grid.

We only ever collect and use your personal data to the extent that this is necessary to fulfil our tasks.
