Amprion is a vital part of critical infrastructure. Our mission is to safeguard the reliability of supply.
By behaving responsibly, you also contribute to this security. Conversely, your personal safety at our sites is also important to us. To that end, we are taking all necessary precautions and safety measures.
Therefore, we ask that you familiarize yourself with a few key points and strictly adhere to them. You can find more information on preparing for your visit here.
Upon arrival:
- Please check in at the reception desk.
- If you have one, please present your invitation and a photo ID (e.g., national ID card).
During your visit:
- Wear your visitor badge visibly throughout your visit and present it if asked. Do not give your visitor badge to anyone else.
- If you lose your badge, notify your Amprion contact person immediately.
- Please return your visitor badge to the reception desk after your visit.
- Please familiarize yourself with emergency exits, assembly points, and key contact persons.
In Case of Emergency
Should an emergency occur during your visit, we want to ensure that you receive assistance as quickly as possible. Please read the following emergency call procedures for the location you are visiting carefully and follow them in the event of an emergency. Always contact your on-site Amprion contact person as well and follow local instructions.
- Remain calm.
- Alert people around you.
- Ensure that one person is stationed at the entrance or access road to direct the arriving emergency responders, thereby ensuring prompt assistance.
- Please be sure to observe the separate controls for the Dortmund, Brauweiler, and Rommerskirchen sites.
Emergency call regulation for Dortmund
In an emergency, call 112 (fire/rescue service) or 110 (police) immediately.
If you call an external rescue coordination center directly, please be sure to inform the reception at the location immediately afterwards by calling

The reception staff will then record the emergency and, if you have not already done so, notify the external rescue control center directly. In this case, a conference call with the external control center can be set up together with you.
The reception staff will then instruct the arriving rescue services on site.
For first aid in the event of ventricular fibrillation, an AED (automated external defibrillator) is available at the reception of all locations. The reception staff will bring the AED directly to the scene of the emergency if necessary.
Reception at the RSS7 and RSS8 locations is available around the clock.
At the WFD87 location, the reception is manned from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays.
Recommendation: Save the contact “Amprion DO-RSS7” or RSS8 or WFD87 on your cell phone.

In an emergency, alert the Infrastructure and Security Center (ISC).

If you make an emergency call directly to an external control station, please be sure to inform the ISC immediately afterwards.
