For Amprion, long-term and stable business relationships play a central role in our commercial success. This is because grid expansion – and thus the progress of the energy transition – depends to a large extent on the reliable provision and procurement of the necessary services, components and materials. To this end, we rely on close cooperation with suppliers and contribute to trusting partnerships through, among other things, fair and reliable conduct.
The basis for this is our Supplier Code of Conduct, which sets out our expectations regarding the conduct of our business partners, including in relation to ethical business practices and compliance with social and environmental standards. In supplier management, Amprion is also working to continuously improve transparency in the upstream value chain. To this end, we are gradually requiring suppliers, amongst other things, to increase their disclosure of CO₂emissions and the materials used in the products supplied to Amprion or the services provided.
