Fitch Ratings confirms “BBB+” rating with stable outlook for Amprion

The transmission system operator Amprion GmbH (“Amprion”) has again received a “BBB+” rating with a stable outlook from the rating agency Fitch Ratings as part of its annual review. This reflects Amprion’s very strong credit quality.

"In light of our increasing investments in the grid expansion to achieve climate targets, it is particularly important for us to be a reliable and trustworthy issuer on the capital market," said Peter Rüth, Chief Financial Officer of Amprion.

This is once again underlined by the confirmation of the investment grade rating.

Amprion plans to invest 22.2 billion euro in the expansion and renewal of the transmission grid in Germany within the next five years.
