Grid Connection
Amprion GmbH is responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of its grid within its control area in accordance with the Energy Industry Act. As a transmission system operator, the company must publish requirements for grid connection based on objective, transparent and non-discriminatory criteria for feed-in and grid usage.
In response to the large number of grid connection requests received by Amprion, we have optimised our grid connection process in consultation with other transmission system operators. This process optimisation applies to storage facilities and industrial plants. The goal is to achieve a more binding request process and to be able to efficiently process grid connection requests at Amprion. Further information can be found on the individual subpages.
