Tendering Procedure of grid losses 2009
The Energy Industry Act (Energiewirtschaftsgesetz) and Electricity Grid Access Ordinance (Netzzugangsverordnung Strom) oblige the grid system operators to procure energy required for the compensation of grid losses (loss energy) in a transparent, market-oriented and non discriminating manner.
Amprion has chosen the method of public tender for the purpose of covering it’s grid losses energy requirement for the year 2009. The procurement presumably takes place in several separate tenders.
The tender dates are as follows:

The coverage of Amprion’s total requirement will presumably be divided into 9 equal parts per tender day. The profile of one part tender can be found in Excel-format (“Profile-Grid-Losses-2009”) on our website.

A prerequisite for participating in the call for tender process is the existence of a valid balance group of the participant in the Amprion control area.
