Procedure in the case of connection requests by downstream grid operators for the purpose of feeding into the Amprion grid

Amprion creates the prerequisites for feeding electrical energy from downstream grids into the transmission grid according to the following transparent and non-discriminatory procedure in accordance with §17 EnWG.

A. Overview:

The procedure for the assignment of capacities for feeding in electrical energy from downstream grids encompasses various steps, which are individually explained under B.. The procedure commences upon receipt of a qualified inquiry (B. 1.). This is basically followed by the assignment and preparation of a feasibility study (B. 2.), a capacity commitment (B. 3.) and corresponding contracts (B.4.).
