General capacity calculation scheme
The calculation of the total network capacity as well as the security margin is employed according to the agreed principles, which were developed in conjunction with the other European TSOs.

Approved capacity calculation scheme
According to Article 5 (2) of the congestion management guidelines a general scheme for the calculation of the total transfer capacity and the transmission reliability margin based upon the electrical and physical features of the network is subject to the approval of the regulatory authorities. Below the calculation scheme approved of Bundesnetzagentur is published.
