Auctions Germany and Switzerland
Since January 2006 EnBW Transportnetze AG and Amprion GmbH perform explicit capacity auctions on the border Germany - Switzerland together with Swissgrid.
The auctions are operated by the Auction Office CASC.EU SA in Luxembourg.

The Auction Rules for the explicit allocation of long term capacity have been harmonised and entered into force on 01.01.2012.
